So the Post Office has released its shipping deadlines for Christmas delivery. Here is what they recommend (not counting COVID delays):
First Class mail: Ship by December 18th.
Priority Mail: Ship by December 19th
Priority Mail Express: Ship by December 23rd
Media Mail and Parcel Select: Ship by December 15th
International Shipping (First Class International, Priority Mail International): ship by November 30th for the Continents of Africa, Central America, and South America. December 7th for everywhere else.
Priority Mail Express International: Ship by December 7th for the Continents of Africa, Central America, and South America. December 14th for everywhere else.
For Hawaii, Alaska, and APO/FPO, please refer to the USPS shipping deadlines here.
Bear in mind that we are in challenging times and the increased burden on the post office has highlighted some flaws in the system. Consider these recommended shipping deadlines as just that “recommended” not absolutes. Be safe and plan ahead to ensure safe timely delivery.
