Excalibur 1: Warwolves of London! (part 1 of 2), October 1988, Marvel Comics
The world believes the mutant heroes the X-Men are dead. Kitty Pryde and Nightcrawler, almost fully recovered from severe injuries sustained during the Mutant Massacre, join the psychic Rachel Summers (Phoenix II), the British superman Captain Britain and his elf lover, Meggan, to form the super team Excalibur. However, dangerous adversaries are gathering and this new group will have to learn to be a team if they are going to survive the coming days.
This tale picks up after the events of Excalibur: The Sword is Drawn (1988).
